Greenoak Crescent – Purchased 1992

This three bedroom house was the first property I ever bought in 1992. I was just beginning my teaching career and my parents were the ones who really persuaded me to buy rather than rent. I’m so glad I took their advice! After 10 years living here, Kathryn and I moved to a new home and this became our first buy-to-let. It ticked along as an investment whilst we put all of our time and energy into our careers. After 14 years of being landlords we decided to invest further. It’s not so much a project as the reason why we continued to invest.
